2.1. What is the Secure Silicon security?
The smart card and DSD1110 are paired permanently.
2.2.Which components does Secure Silicon need to operate?
DSD 1110
Zeta 2 smart card
Secure silicon chip set (embedded in the decoder)
2.3.How exactly does Secure Silicon security work?
A specific smart card and decoder function as a unit.
You will only be able to use the decoder with the smart card to which it is paired.
Other smart cards will not function on a paired decoder.
All smart cards and decoders that are already paired cannot be used independently, otherwise an E30 error message will be displayed
2.4.How does Secure Silicon security affect MY holiday home?
Your DSD1110 MUST be accompanied by the smart card that it is paired to.They must be used as a unit and cannot be separated from each other.
